Koh Tonsay is very quiet so it is only suitable for relaxing activities, so try some of the activities you can do in Koh Tonsay:
Take a massage
There is nothing better than lying on a massage chair along the beach enjoy the wave sound and the cool wind. You will spend about $ 5 an hour of foot massage and 7 dollars per hour of coconut oil massage.
There is an off-the-beaten route around the island leading to every beach and fishing village, takes about 2-3 hours to complete the journey and there is much wild beauty awaiting you.
Traveling to the sea island without immersing in the cool water is a bit regretfully. The green water, sparkling sunshine, and ranges of green coconut trees will take you to Wonderland immediately.
Rowing or taking a boat trip to nearby islands. The rent for a small boat (with lunch included) is $ 7
There is also an exciting campfire for groups of friends traveling together, but it is important to alert to the fire threat
What to eat? Where to go?
On Koh Tonsay there are bungalows (small bungalows for groups of 3 – 4 people) for $ 7. The houses are very simple, only mosquito nets are available and of course no wifi, but so that you will have the opportunity to experience full holiday. You do not need to book in advance because the island is quite deserted, so there is always bungalows or rooms available.
Similar to Koh Rong or most of the island’s tourist attractions in Vietnam, seafood that has just been caught and sold at the beach is quite pleasant and very fresh. If you take a little hard, you can enjoy a full stomach without having to spend too much money. Overall, food in Koh Tonsay is not too expensive.
A Final Note
While there is not a lot in the way of infrastructure, some of that is improving. There is work on adding a small power grid that will supply power to the bungalows that tourists can rent. By the time you decide to go it is likely that this will be done, and you will have power until 10 pm each night. Whether hot water will be available soon is not known.
The bungalows come with a bed, a bathroom, and a table. There is not a whole lot to them, as the government does not want to the island to lose too much of its rustic and natural look. Even as it adds more innovations, you should expect that it will keep its natural look.
