Visiting Tuol Genocide Museum

As a symbol of Cambodia, the Royal Palace is one of the places that visitors can not miss when visiting Phnom Penh. Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings, the residence of the King and the royal family. The palace was built after King Norodom transferred from Oudong to Phnom Penh in the traditional Khmer style. The palace is open daily from 8am to 5pm.

Visiting Choeung Ek – the death field
Located about 15 km from Phnom Penh and only 30 minutes by car, the Choeung Ek field is the most iportant devidence reflecting the Pol Pot genocide in the 70s. At present, in the middle of the field, a memorial tower was erected to commemorate the victims. This memorial tower contains over 5,000 skulls of the victims. Here, visitors will feel the deep pain that the Pol Pot regime has brought to the innocent Cambodian people during the ruling.
